Sue is Vice President, Software Development, and leads the Software Development entity, which includes the following groups: Business Analysis, Project Management, Object Oriented Development and Design, Procedural Development and Design, Software Test Engineering, Process Management, and Production. She is also responsible for these same organizations in our Sarasota location for our Income Tax Product line.  She is member of the Corporate Leadership Team, which establishes Vertex’s long-term growth strategies and manages operational execution

Sue has been at Vertex since 1999, and before that spent a little over a year developing what is now the Software Test Engineering organization from 1995 to 1996. The Software Development entity is responsible for all phases of the software development life cycle for all product lines at Vertex.

Sue holds a B.S. from Lycoming College, has the designation of Certified Quality Manager from the American Society for Quality, and has been a guest speaker for the Cabrini College Master’s Program in Organizational Leadership around Gender in Leadership.  She has also attend the International Coaching Academy and gone through their certification process.
